Knjiga je namenjena svima koji se bave obrazovanjem, kao i onima koji su u njemu, dakle, i samim studentima, kao glavnim akterima sopstvenog razvoja, pre svega, intelektualne autonomije, kao meta-komponente očekivanih kompetencija, radi lakšeg snalaženja u društvenom kontekstu, koji u predznaku ima sve jasnije izraženu nesigurnost, nepredvidivost, nestabilnost… S nadom da će poslužiti i visokoškolskim nastavnicima u promišljanju o didaktičkim stategijama kojima, menjajući svoju didaktičku ulogu u procesu poučavanja i učenja, ostvaruju veliki doprinos razvoju intelektualne autonomije, verujemo da trud nije bio uzaludan. Na kraju, bila bi velika korist da knjiga posluži i onima koji donose značajne odluke u promeni sistema obrazovanja.
